Hi, I am Michael Nodel and I am a violinist from Munich. I am currently studying at the HMTM in Munich in the class of Prof. Mi-kyung Lee and Prof. Ana Chumachenco. Please scroll down to see my full bio and some of my concerts.

Biography
Michael Nodel (*2002) has been playing the violin since the age of 6. He had violin lessons with Prof. Olga Voitova-Bloch, Alexander Kostin, Daniela Jung and Simon Fordham. From 2016-2020 he was a junior student at the Munich University of Music with Prof. Lena Neudauer. Michael has won numerous 1st national prizes at "Jugend Musiziert", and in 2018 he received the Sparkassen Special Prize in the "Special Ensemble" category. In 2019, he won 2nd prize at the Agustin Aponte International Competition. He graduated from Pestalozzi-Gymnasium Munich in July 2020 and has worked as a concertmaster in several youth orchestras, including the Bavarian State Youth Orchestra and the ODEON Youth Symphony Orchestra. In the 2021/22 season, Michael was an academy member of the Hofkapelle Munich. In 2022 he was allowed to be part of the NUME Academy and the Samos Young Artists Festival. He frequently performs as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles and has been studying at the Munich University of Music in the class of Prof. Mi-Kyung Lee since 2020 and also with Prof. Ana Chumachenco since 2023. In the 2022/23 season, Michael was an academist with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam. Since 2024 he has been a scholarship holder of Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now e.V. Munich and the Landesstiftung Villa Musica.
